Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Thank you guys so much for your hilarious responses on yesterday's post. I had no idea that almost everyone has been ...asked for their hand in marriage by a stranger!

Here's a few quick facts about me. Portions: I'm not so great with them. Also, pans: I only have one size.

This recipe is from the Pioneer Woman, an excellent cook who uses a lot of cream, milk, and butter in her recipes.

When I made it, I used way too much lemon juice but it was still very good. I think it's hard to make shrimp taste bad.

  1. Yum! I've not tried that recipe... yet. Just about everything the pioneer woman makes sounds epic and every single recipe I've tried has been amazing!! No joke, the chicken tikka masala changed our life!

  19. Just a quick tip for improving the quality of your photos. If you used a point-and-shoot to take these photos, you can probably adjust the 'white balance' settings through a variety of menus, to 'incandescent lighting' when you're taking indoor photos, and then the yellow tint should go away. Most likely :)

  20. Mmmmm. Bet this was so yummy!!!!!!
And I am here to tell you that it is indeed possible to make shrimp taste bad. When I was just starting to learn how to cook... I read that you could cook shrimp in the microwave.
    BAD IDEA! :)

  22. Mrs. Biscuit - One of the things that I love the most about her is that she creates copy-able things.

Shoe - Yay! I love, love, love Holmes!

K Blue - I guess that's true. Seafood has a ton of complicated recipes, but I usually stick with something simple and it works out okay.
