Target Purses

Ah, so begins a new search. A possible one this time. I want a new professional bag. I would like to try out the cross body trend and I really want something classic and quilted. I want a chanel bag, but I'm not going to spend the money to get it... so here are a few more realistic options.

I like the color of this one. It's a bit small; I'm not sure my wallet would fit in it. The clasp is really unique though.

This one's pretty classic and plain.

This is a little bigger, but still pretty toned down.

These bags are cheap enough, but... none of them really call out to me. They're a bit more rustic and a bit less classic than I want.

Where do you usually buy bags?

  3. I think the first one is the classiest of the bunch but not getting any chanel vibes from them either. I am the worst for bags, my mother alway baggers me to get one, but I prefer other accessories. hope you find on you like.

  6. i like the purses at TJ Maxx and also on ebay. it sounds crazy, but i saw a bag i LOVED on a british tv show. i googled the descriptive words that i thought best described it and ended up finding it on ebay for $25. i used to get compliments on it ALL the time. unfortunately, i ordered it a size too small, so i don't use it anymore. but i still have it in my closet bc i can't bear to part with it.

  8. I love the first one !

I have a navy blue pants but they look so I-am-not-wearing-colourful-pants that I don't count them as one ;)

  9. I really like the clasp on the first one, but I usually don't buy bags from Target, because they're too cheaply made. I only have a few purses, and they have to be warhorses. The one I'm carrying today was Wilsons Leather and I've been carrying it on a fairly regular basis for about ten years now.

  10. was *from* Wilson Leather (it's actually Pelle Studio brand)

  11. The first one is adorable! I've bought a bag yesterday that I think you would like, since it fits pretty well into the classic category.
Thank you so much for the comment regarding the photos!
About the outfit, I am not wearing anything underneath it. This top is kind of sheer, as you can probably tell by the photos, so I wanted to play a little bit with that. But I think that wearing a cami underneath would be perfectly fine! Another look that I really like is using the shirt as sort off a vest, for a more casual look. I've already use this one with a black maxi dress and it look quite nice. But anyway, these look nice with almost everything, even with regular jeans.
Aw, I am sad about the bun. I am going to try finding another option. Then I'll let you know! :)

  13. I usually thrift my bags, but...if you wanted a Chanel-ish dupe, I highly recommend this listing on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Quilted-chain-bag-gold-buckle-solid-quilting-clutch-bag-/320645652092?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D1%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D1527334997995463202

I bought two from this seller and the quality is what you see in the pictures! :D

  15. I just bought a big purse from target. It is wonderful because it holds everything.

Also a really delayed reply to your comment, but I dabble photography. I finally showed the mom I nanny for some of the pictures I took of her kids and she raved about them. She wants to pay me to take her family pictures. I'm honored.

  20. I loveee bag #1 and #3 =] love itt. I love buying things that loooks expensive but cost only a fraction of the price!! I love buying my bags at H&M and Aldo =] love them bothh!! specially aldo ohoh and winners too!LOL..I would never spend $1000+ on a big named bag because bags are accessories and accessories are meant to be changed at all times to miz and match outfits.. I dont think im that stylish if I only wear one wear for the rest of my life! lol unless Im super rich and can afford 10+ brand names bags then that's a different story.. as for now, as a student, I'll stick to my low budget, high quality, chic bags =]

ohoh btw, replying to ur comment on the ELF liner review, I hateeeeee it when the more expensive liners still smudges on us... whats the point of buying such an expensive product if it performs equally like the $3 ELF prodcuts right? =] hehe that's why I love spending on inexpensive things that works just as fine =]
