ELF Nourishing Cuticle Pen

I got this little doohicky from target, after peeling off my nail polish and ruining my cuticles. Although this is by no means a miracle product, it's not bad for a dollar.

As you can see, it says that it has Avocado and Almond Oils. It also has vitamins E, A, and C.

The product was relatively easy to use. Once you took the cap off, this is what you saw.

That's a hard nub that dispenses product at a good rate. It's strong enough for you to really push your cuticles back and make it a multipurpose tool.

As for its effectiveness, I think it works. My nails are stronger and I do try to use it regularly.

  1. what an interesting product!

a few years back, i got something just like this in a nail polish kit i got for christmas. the only difference was that it contained nail polish remover instead of cuticle oil. i tried it a few times... but it sucked. so, i guess you could say that i've always been skeptical of pen-like packaging like this.

glad to see it works pretty decently for you! :)

  2. Interesting! And for $1, definitely not a bad item to just try out - I'll have to keep my eye out for this (I always have cuticle issues).

  5. thx for your comment on my blog...

OPI and essie nail polishes are only in stores very expensive. But you can buy these brands via ebay.com for 5€ / 5,50$
I think this price is ok for a great nail polish..isn't it?:)

  8. I've never done anything to my cuticles, so I don't have much to say about this product, but it does look nourishing.

  14. I have stupid cuticles that grow way too much and too quickly. They're annoying. I want them gone.

  20. I tried using this before, and like you said, though it's not AMAZING, it's pretty good for being only a dollar. I love that the tip is pretty stiff and I can push my cuticles effectively while moisturizing my nails.

  23. SWEATshirtDRESSshirt - I think it may just be because you can see remover not working and oil is more... of an after effect.

SkiBunny - I actually try not to buy polish for more than a dollar...

Diana- Ouch! That would hurt a ton.

laura - I found the fact that it had two uses most appealing.
