Pasta with Salmon

I definitely try not to eat too much pasta, especially the quick store-brought ones with a ton of sodium, but it's irresistible. I see all these complicated pasta recipes online and I think... it would be such a quick and easy meal if I just used store-brought pasta. So I do.

This pasta with salmon dish is loosely based off this recipe. I seriously think that if I took the time to make my pasta every time I wanted to eat it, I'd stop eating so much. When I'm passing it in the stores, though, it taunts me. Perhaps next time I'll add veggies to be more healthy.

  11. Surely dried pasta isn't too horrible for you, especially if you make your own sauce. Pre-made pasta sauce and frozen dinners have icky things in them, though. If you wanted to make your own pasta, it freezes really well, so you could make a huge batch and always have some available. I haven't tried it yet, because I'm not sure I'm up for it!

  16. Sizzle and Zoom - I think it's a great site as well. I've been following it for quite some time.

Claire - I feel like I'm going to sound like one of your kids... but peas? ACK. Haha, I don't mind them, but I don't love them with salmon.

Lauren - I'll have to try to make my own. Premade is my sin.
