It's still 95F here, so here's another summer recipe.

This watermelon granita is another Pioneer Woman Recipe, linked here. I really wanted to get this posted before it really turned into fall. Here, it got cold last week but highs are still 100 and walking around campus still makes you very very warm and looking forward to something cold and sweet for when you get home.

This stuff really hits the spot! I didn't think I liked watermelon before this but this stuff is amazing!

  16. I am a fan of watermelon, as long as it's ripe! It is most definitely not warm weather here! I'm having a bit of a hard time adjusting because it was warm-ish here, we went to Dallas where it was almost 90 degrees and then we came back to Wichita and we're supposed to get freezing temperatures tonight! My body's all confused!

  24. Miss Rando - I didn't know either. Glad to help out!

Erin - Me neither. Watermelon is kind of a blah food compared to ... say apples.

Suki - It's hot here... always.

Macherie - Generally, I'm not a fan of melon either, but this was really good.
