A while ago, I went to an Improv Comedy night.

via weheartit

It's not the type of thing that I usually do, but it was pretty fun. Though tickets were only ten dollars each, each person had to order 2 items from the overpriced menu, which added up.

The comics were all local. And they really ranged in talent, but one joke stood out to me.

This male comic was talking about his wife's pet names for him and he said it was "Pooh Bear." He continued by explaining that it was because he enjoyed walking around in a red t-shirt and no pants. I might have just butchered his joke. He had better comedic timing.

But enough background information. A few days after that, I saw this post. No one's really naked here, but it fits in with some of my other Winnie the Pooh posts.

Speaking  of... do you have your Halloween Costumes?

  3. I love comedy. We've got a GREAT improv here. It is inexpensive and fun for a Saturday night. Plus who doesn't like to laugh?

  4. Haven't been to a comedy show yet but I would love to go to one! No crazy Halloween costume this year. I didn't want to spend the money so I just wore my Tom Brady football jersey and shorts and went out last night as a football fan. Not much of a costume but holy Halloween is getting expensive.

  5. I've gotten invited to several comedy bars but always turned them down because I'm scared the comics might single me out and make fun of me or something. haha.

  10. I love comedy places!!! Anything that guarantees a good laugh is a go to for me. My favorite comedian is John Pinette. If you haven't seen him, rent his stand up. I promise you will crack up!!

ummm I was a kitty cat last night. Nothing too exciting this year...

  17. I've never been to a live comedy show before. Seems like a good deal for $10 but like you said the food probably does add up. The last one we watch was on tape a long time ago of Chris Rocks and it was hilarious. I'm sure a live one would be even better.

To answer your questions on my blog - Lil'C is in K2 now, she's a little smarty pants. We were joking with each other to start a Junior Tututiny blog for her ;) What do you think? hehehehe.

  25. Sarah Grecco - I wish mine was as inexpensive. For me, watching a movie is still cheaper.

Adele - Definitely, there were a few comedians that were better than others.

Jenny - It definitely was. My first time going to one!

Anisa Young - I ended up not doing anything. =(
