My Life Is Average Mondays: I've changed.

At least, I've changed my label. When I first started this blog, I said that my style was more or less classy with a side of whimsical, quirky and bright.

But I don't really know about that anymore. You can dress as classily as you want, but you won't truly be classy unless you act like a classy lady. And I do not. For the longest time, I had a better-than-you haughty air about me. I thought that's what would make me a lady. The attitude wasn't classy and I'm not classy. Bear with me, I'm going to say it again. I'm not classy.

I'm too volatile and easily excitable.  I'm too loud and crass. I like to stomp around in my boots and throw my head back to laugh. Sometimes I like toilet humor and I can be really vindictive. I'm no princess and honestly, it makes me feel better when I don't have to pretend to be.

  7. I think you can be both crazy and classy:) The most important thing is that you are comfortable with who you are. I think it evolves as you get older and more comfortable in your skin. (I sound really old, don't I?)

  9. Aki you should just be yourself! A lady is more than just being dainty and polite... A lady has class, she is gracious, she can accept a compliment and give one too.

  13. So beautifully said! I think it change is inevitable in every person, and I myself sometimes look back on the 'old' me and cringe! I'm sure you were just as lovely before though as you are now ❤

  14. You have to be who YOU want to be! I've had less than flattering attitudes at times. You change over time.
