Silly ol' me!

I wanted to share this outfit to show the lovely blue shirt I was wearing underneath, but apparently, for these pictures, I decided to button everything up. Good job, self. Good freaking job.

Shirt: Forever 21 (17.80)
Blazer: Love Culture (32.80)
Skirt: Tahari (40.00)
Shoes: Aldo Arnoldoa (70.00)

I like this look for a day at work, especially if you have a meeting or a more formal conference. I love wearing cardigans but blazers add a bit of warmth, if you need it, and a really easy layer of formality.

Blazers buttoned or unbuttoned at the office?

  1. I rarely wear blazers to the office unless I have meetings (otherwise I'm in cardis), but when I do I generally leave them unbuttoned.

    I like this look!

  2. The skirt is super cute on you! I like blazers sometimes, too. I tend to wear them with flowy-ish dresses to give them some structure. I don't do button ones, though. My top half and buttons aren't bff's.

  3. Very professional! Haha funny how you buttoned up. Oh well~

  4. I usually unbutton the blazer at the office. When you are sitting and you have a buttoned blazer, it wrinkles very quickly.

    1. This blazer's a cheating blazer! It's made of a cottony sweatshirt material and doesn't wrinkle.

  17. Love the look! I usually button blazers because my waist is the smallest part of my body and I try to emphasize that and deemphasize other parts.

    1. That's a good point. I don't do this to all blazers but I think this one really tucks my bits and pieces in. Haha. Probably TMI.

  22. Love the corporate look! For me, I don't button my blazers just cause I live in a hot and humid country so it'd be too warm even with the air-condition on
