Lolo's Chicken and Waffles!

Today, I'm bringing you a review of a popular Tempe/Scottsdale Restaurant.

Lolo's Chicken and Waffles looks like a fast food restaurant from the outside. From the inside, it's not much better. They're known for fried chicken... A vegan or healthy eater of any kind would start running in the opposite direction.

At the same time, I know people who are obsessed with this restaurant. As for me? I have to admit that they have the best cornbread I have ever had. Their chicken was quite tasty and their mashed potatoes and gravy wasn't bad either! If I ever feel in the mood for a sinful meal, I might come here!

  18. haha, as a vegetarian I just might bit I am really interested in different types of food styles and cuisines. This looks like great comfort food, the corn bread sounds fantastic. Here in SA, you would never find a combination of waffles and chicken, whats it like?

    1. Thanks for your reply! I can imagine it would be a little strange but then again in SA, we have a few weird combos. Oh It was just the Olsen sisters, they left one twin at home i think, lol

  19. Fried chicken is my weakness! Probably because I'm from the South. :-) I don't let myself have it except as a treat from time to time. This looks delish!!

  22. Corn bread is quite possibly my favorite BBQ food ever. Don't get me wrong - I love brisket, ribs and fried chicken, but I would be totally happy just with BBQ side dishes. :)
