Rattlesnake Ridge Hike

by - 7:43 AM

Rattlesnake Ridge is on the east side of Issaquah, about an hour east from Seattle. I'd say the hike is medium difficulty. It's not too long at 2.5 miles, but it consisted almost of all uphill switchbacks. I thought about giving up several times before reaching the top. But with views like this before reaching the top, I knew I was in store for a breathtaking view.

And I wasn't wrong. The view of the lake from up high was as beautiful as I could imagine it. I loved how  you could feel the sun on your bare skin after roughing it up the muddy trails.

It amazes me to gaze upon these endless evergreens. When there is so much doubt and destruction in the world, it's so uplifting to escape from it for a moment. Close your eyes and feel the warm sun, cool breeze and hear the people around you laugh in joy.

Now, you can go back to the grind and back to the fight.
